professionalism begins with a dress code. Ladies are expected to wear
black leotards at all times, pink tights and shoes, and hair secured in a

shoes. Gentlemen are expected to wear white t-shirts, black athletic
shorts, and black shoes for all classes. Quality merchandise is

3-4 year olds = Discover Dance!
This program introduces children to movement & music through the basic
elements of ballet, developing gross and fine motor coordination, creative
movement, self-expression, and self-awareness.
4-5 year olds = Explore Dance!
Pre-school dancers further explore elementary ballet and are introduced to
tap in a fun and playful environment. These classes continue with motor
development plus music awareness and basic dance steps.
5-6 year olds = Kinder Dance!
Dancers at this level have options to experience a fuller understanding
of ballet, tap, and jazz. Classes contain wider vocabulary of dance moves,
rhythms, and music skills while keeping a “fun” approach.
For the first time in 2013-14, we are offering two levels of the
award-winning Barnett Traveling Troupe. First, our Competition
Team, winners of the prestigious Class Act Award at OnStage New York, and
also our new Performance Troupe, who will be involved in community
performances and can opt to attend one competition.
All students are invited to participate in Master Classes. This is
an exciting way to work with the nation's leading teachers and
Dance is a performing art. Performances need to be viewed to be
